He is particularly interested in the transformative potential of capital and of technology - both to drive Africa’s development and integration with the rest of the world, and to empower her citizens. For 30 years, Thando has served as Chairman, Chief Executive and/or partner of investment firms across Africa, and as a corporate lawyer and investment banker in the United States. He has also held senior, non-executive governance roles with public sector, philanthropic and academic institutions. Most recently, and over a 14-year tenure, Thando served as an Executive and Non-executive director of Allan Gray - Africa’s largest privately-owned investment firm – and he led the firm’s business across five African countries outside South Africa. His career began in 1992 in New York as a corporate finance attorney with the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. She joined Ubank as Chief Entrepreneur Officer in September 2020. Zizipho completed a Global Executive Development Programme with the Gordon Institute of Business Science with distinction in 2018.   **Value to the board** Zizipho’s background spans entrepreneurial beginnings to becoming the CEO of Old Mutual’s Masisizane Fund, allowing her passion for entrepreneurial development to continue. Under his leadership, Micros South Africa has led large-scale cloud migrations and acquired three hospitality technology companies, expanding capabilities across property management, centralized reservations, circuit booking, spa management, and travel operator booking platforms—solutions tailored to boost efficiency across the hospitality and restaurant sectors. A specialist in digitisation and enterprise-wide digital transformation, Reggie holds an international Executive MBA and completed postgraduate studies at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Luxolo has a career spanning 25 years, 18 of which have been at executive leadership positions in the private as well as public sector, including Board representation and participation. Luxolo’s extensive experience in the ICT industry, is backed up by formal certification in Project Management and Project Management Office (PMO), supported by his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Executive Development Programme in Management. His areas of specialisation are Project and Programme Management, Business Process Management, Shareholder Value Analysis (SVA), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Financial Performance Management and Supply Chain Management. He has deep experience in implementing large and complex organisational transformation projects, where he has played roles team lead, programme management and programme executive. Prior joining Adapt IT, Luxolo worked as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) at National Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).  He was Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency (ECPTA), also worked as Senior Manager at Accenture.  The certified partnership with Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) enables Adapt IT to provide a 360 degree view of the student journey. In this role, he oversees and leads the company’s sales function, working closely with divisional executives and their teams to drive growth and strengthen stakeholder partnerships. Prior to joining Adapt IT, Billy served as General Manager: Public Sector Sales at Datacentric. His career also includes key positions at Microsoft South Africa, where he worked as Sales Executive – Services and later as Africa Pre-Sales Digital Architect. With more than 30 years of experience in Human Capital Management, she has held executive positions across multiple organisations and worked as a consultant in Human Resources and Organisational Development.
